Comprehensive Carpentry Services For Your Home
AHPS delivers a full range of residential carpentry services, from small repairs to bespoke installations and larger home improvement projects. Our carpenters take the time to understand your space, assess the work properly, and deliver solutions that are practical, well finished, and built to last.
We offer transparent pricing for all planned carpentry work, with clear guidance on costs before work begins. Larger projects are quoted in advance, while smaller jobs are assessed fairly based on scope and complexity. This means no guesswork and no unexpected additions along the way.
Media Walls
Create a striking focal point in your living space with a bespoke media wall built around your home. Our carpenters design and construct media walls that balance style, storage, and practicality, ensuring a clean finish that works seamlessly with your layout. We take care of framing, panelling, and finishing details, giving you a result that feels built in rather than added on. Every media wall is planned carefully to suit your room and your preferences.
Bespoke Wardrobes & Fitted Storage
Maximise space with fitted wardrobes and bespoke storage designed specifically for your home. We build wardrobes that work around room dimensions, sloped ceilings, and existing layouts to create practical storage without wasted space. From clean, modern designs to more traditional finishes, our carpenters ensure every wardrobe is measured, built, and installed with precision.
Flooring Installation & Repairs
New flooring can transform the look and feel of your home. We install and repair a wide range of flooring types, ensuring a level surface, clean edges, and a durable finish that stands up to everyday use. Our team works efficiently and with minimal disruption, leaving you with flooring that looks great and performs properly.
Internal & External Door Fitting
Well-fitted doors improve both appearance and functionality. We install and replace internal and external doors, ensuring smooth operation, accurate alignment, and a professional finish throughout. Whether you are upgrading a single door or refreshing your home, we focus on detail, fit, and long term reliability.
Skirting Boards & Finish Carpentry
The finishing details play a big role in how a space looks and feels. Our carpenters install skirting boards and internal trims that create clean transitions between walls and floors, giving rooms a polished, complete appearance. This work is ideal during renovations, redecorating projects, or when replacing worn or damaged trims. We focus on accurate cuts, tidy joins, and consistent alignment, leaving everything neat, secure, and ready for decorating.
Carpentry Repairs & Maintenance
Damaged timber, loose fittings, and general wear can affect both the appearance and function of your home. Our carpenters carry out reliable repairs and maintenance work that restores strength, usability, and visual finish. From small fixes to more involved repairs, we assess the issue carefully and complete the work with the same attention to detail as larger projects. Every repair is handled properly, helping prevent further problems down the line.
Kitchen Fitting & Carpentry Support
Kitchen installations rely on accurate carpentry to ensure everything fits correctly and functions as intended. Our carpenters support kitchen projects by fitting units, adjusting cabinetry, and completing finishing work to a high standard. We work carefully around existing services and coordinate smoothly with other trades when required. This ensures your kitchen installation progresses efficiently and results in a space that looks right, works well, and feels built to last.

I contacted AHPS after being given their details by a friend to assist with the service of an old, but well cared for Baxi Bermuda LFE. Steven arrived promptly (early even), and completed the service confirming that the unit was in good condition overall. Some remedial work will be needed and I would not hesitate to contact AHPS to carry out this work. Would happily recommend Steven and AHPS to friends and family.

AHPS were incredible. We had a major leak in our flat bathroom that completely rotted through the floor and caused the entire space to be unsafe and unlivable in. Due to the severity of the issue, the team rushed and prioritized our job to ensure we’d have a working bathroom again. They were there for a few days and got the job done really quick and efficiently. They were really professional and would keep me updated with their plans and what they’re doing as they progress through to keep me in the loop and for me to be able to suggest any changes or amendments and they made sure to get all the work done to cater towards my difficult work hours. All scrap was stored safely out the way outside and was disposed of as soon as the work was complete. Very happy with their service and fully expecting to go to them for any future needs or issues we have.
Everyone was great, but special thanks to Kiani for heavily organizing things with me and making clear and concise plans.
Thanks guys!

Professional, reliable, and a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will definitely use again in the future.

We recently had extensive plumbing work carried out to upgrade all the internal pipework to 22mm and the main water supply pipe to 25mm, as well as the installation of a water softener. The work involved lifting floors, accessing pipe routes under floorboards, and removing sections of boxing and fittings, so we were naturally concerned about potential damage to walls, floors, carpets, and kitchen units.
I have to say the standard of workmanship was exceptional. Once the work was completed, you genuinely could not tell that such major plumbing work had taken place. Everything was reinstated perfectly and with great attention to detail.
They even arranged for a professional carpet fitter to refit the carpets that had been lifted to access the pipework under the floorboards, and a carpenter was brought in to refit all the boxing and woodwork that had to be removed during the installation. The finish throughout was excellent.
What also stood out was their ability to come up with practical and creative solutions whenever unexpected issues arose during the project. Instead of taking shortcuts, they carefully worked through problems and found solutions that maintained both the quality of the work and the appearance of the property.
This is actually the second time I’ve used them, having previously worked with Steve and Kiani on a similar project at another property around two years ago. Based on both experiences, I can confidently say they are highly professional, reliable, and take real pride in the quality of their work.
Overall, an excellent job from start to finish, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We had a fantastic experience with AHPS from start to finish. Kiani was friendly, honest, and completely transparent about the work that needed to be done. It was clear from the start they take pride in doing things properly rather than cutting corners.
We also appreciated the additional knowledge and advice Kiani provided around our water supply and what boiler-work was realistically feasible for our house before agreeing to start.
One of the reasons we went with AHPS was because they coordinated all the additional trades we needed for the various jobs round the house (plumbing, plastering and electrics), so we only had to liaise with Kiani which was fantastic. Really made the process easier and less stressful for us (especially as we changed our minds on things more than once!).
Pricing was very reasonable for the great job Kiani and Sam the plasterer did, and they kept us updated throughout each day with what had been completed and if any problems were discovered.
Overall, we’re extremely pleased with the quality of work and the level of communication from AHPS as we were on a tight deadline with a little one on the way and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy tradespeople. We’re hoping to use them again soon for sorting out our upstairs bathroom.

I first came across the guys from Archway when Kiani came to fix a leaking isolation valve in my bathroom and at the same time fitted some new taps. When chatting to Kiani it came to light that their service was much more than just plumbing and heating engineers. They fit bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows etc. We were looking to get our bathroom completely gutted and refitted with new walk in shower, toilet, basin, towel rail, window, ceiling, lighting, extractor fan, tiles and flooring. They provided photos of a large number of bathrooms they had previously installed and after we accepted their quote they did an amazing job with our bathroom. Kiani did all the plumbing, Mick did all the joinery work, which included strengthening the walls and all the flooring. He also did the flooring. They brought tilers in to get the tiling done quickly and they did a brilliant job. I suspect we could have got a cheaper quote but the quality of the work from the Archway team was outstanding. We have subsequently had a new Worcester Bosch combi boiler installed by Steven from Archway and Kiani replaced 4 very old radiators in our upstairs bedrooms. We've just accepted a quote to have our downstairs toilet gutted and have a new toilet, basin, vanity unit, window, door and lights installed. We also plan to use Archway to fit out a new kitchen early in the new year (2026). I would definitely recommend Archway to family and friends and Kiani has already fixed a plumbing issue in my Mum's kitchen when she was having a new dishwasher installed.

Met Steve a few months ago, liked his style and asked him to come and quote for a new boiler and bathroom refit. Recently, we used AHPS to install the new boiler, getting rid of the old back boiler and tanks. They were on time everyday, professional, trustworthy and took time to explain what they were doing whilst overcoming any problems that arose.
A few days after the work was complete, a pipe in the bathroom burst as it was so old… I called Steve and he was with me within 4 hours. Thankfully, Steve had previously explained how they had re plumbed upstairs and I was able to isolate the bathroom to prevent any significant damage.
Overall, I’m really impressed, delighted with the workmanship and will definitely use AHPS again for future work - of which there will be plenty. All of this for a reasonable rate too!

Archway Heating and Plumbing recently replaced three bespoke radiators in our home with new designer ones. It was not a straightforward job because of the way our previous radiators had been installed, but the team handled it brilliantly. They even had to chip back the walls and adjust the existing plumbing, which was extra work they had not expected, yet they carried on without any fuss and stuck to the original quote.
The whole team were professional, friendly and easy to talk to throughout the job. The radiators look fantastic and the quality of their work is clear to see. I already have them booked for boiler servicing and a few more jobs later this year. Highly recommend Archway Heating and Plumbing for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy company.
